What is the most disturbing, disgusting, crazy (non-fictional) experience you have recently had or heard about?

Asked by erichw1504 (26448points) November 30th, 2010

** WARNING: NOT FOR THE FAINT OF HEART **

Heard of or experienced a weird, troubling, sickening story lately? Seen someone’s leg break? Received a gaping wound on your arm? Heard about someone getting killed in a strange fashion? Tell us about it here!

It can be anything: gross, strange, bloody, nasty, etc…

It must be a non-fiction story! Yes, that means TRUE.

When did this happen? How did you react when witnessing or hearing about it? Do you tell this story to others?

I honestly don’t have a fetish for disturbing things, I just want to know if anyone else has a story that could rival others.

I found this story about a women leaving a 45 on a man’s grave in a box pretty disturbing. What if kids had found it? Was it loaded?

It’s from a while ago but one person tied this girl down while the other strangled her. They removed the bones and organs. Then they fed the pieces of her body to some dogs.

My wife just told me this story:

This past weekend, my brother-in-law went to check on his son, who had been sleeping for a couple hours. Afterwords he came out to say to his wife, “Don’t get too upset, but there is something attached to our son’s head.” It was a bug of some sort, lodged to the back of his head, sucking the blood from him. They didn’t know what to do so they called 911 and the paramedics came and removed it. It ended being a type of tick, probably a wood tick. Luckily they usually don’t have a ton of diseases and their kid is fine.

When I heard this story, I was even really freaked out. I hate bugs and if I found one of these on my son or daughter I would either vomit or pass out.

Well, this isn’t gross in any bloody or nasty way but whenever I hear about this I feel sick to my stomach:

This last summer I was traveling through Idaho just past Boise and heading south. There are a lot of pumice stone all along the road there. A car from the other side of the road heading north went out of control and began to roll over the pumice rock. As I saw the car come up the woman in the passenger side of the car was lying across the top of the car and the car went over her and ground her in the rocks. The car came around a second time and she was still there. The car came around the third time and she was gone. I could see her pushed in between some big rocks on the side of the road. I went as quickly as I could to a phone and called it in.

So you’re making out with your girl when the phone rings.
“ARE YOU MAKING OUT WITH MY DAUGHTER!?” so you tell your girl it’s her dad and she says “my dad’s dead”. THEN WHO WAS PHONE!!?

@jenandcolin I didn’t even have to read the details and I’m sick to my stomach! If she had access to food and just did it to do it than that is just wrong and very sickening.

I’m a little queasy about giving GAs to some of these stories.

The following news story really disturbed me..

US judge says lesbians can be ‘cured’ by male soldiers

He continued: “Shouldn’t the overwhelmingly straight warriors who answer their county’s call be spared the indignity of showering with other men who achieve lascivious enjoyment from the sight of those lithe naked bodies, and who may be tempted to seek more than the view?”

Lesbian military personnel, who Mr Rehyansky praised for their “medical and administrative specialties”, should be allowed to serve because they apparently have low sex drives.

His final argument, which has now been removed by The Daily Caller, was as follows: “My solution would get the distaff part of our homosexual population off our collective ‘Broke Back,’ thus giving straight male GIs a fair shot at converting lesbians and bringing them into the mainstream.” (full article)

A family in our area and their next door neighbor were recently convicted with the torture and imprisonment of a teenage boy.

This past July a high school teacher pled guilty to repeatedly sexually assaulting a Freshman student and was given a deferred prosecution (not even deferred sentence but they won’t prosecute at all) and mandatory counseling.

The reason he got of so lightly? Apparently it took a year to investigate the charges and ”… the agreement was necessary to resolve the case because the teenage victim took her own life in February. Her death raised difficult issues for the prosecution, ..., including (teacher’s) right to confront his accuser.

How messed up is that?
I took the quote from the newspaper article but decided not to link to it because the girl’s family has suffered enough and I don’t want to broadcast their name any more on a public forum.

During my Jr. High years there was a family in a neighborhood where I used to run through that was always fighting. Sometimes you’d just hear yelling from inside but a few times I’d seen the mom in the front yard kicking one of her two daughters and another time I saw a man beating the mom in the yard. It’s sad to say they weren’t the only people like that I’d seen while running near my home or delivering newpapers.

In the mid 90’s then I read online where the mom of the family had been charged with murdering both her teen daughters and both her sons were involved. The girls had been made to prostitute themselves, were beaten by the mom and the brothers and both boys were threatened by the mom to be given the same treatment if they didn’t cooperate. One daughter was shut in a pantry and starved to death and the other daughter was shot, I think. The boys were made to clean up the messes and dispose of the bodies.

A coworker told me today that at his last job, they had a gigantic dough mixer and an employee leaned into it to try to grab a bit of the dough and test it out and he fell in and was found with a ton of broken bones and dead.

If these stories are making anyone queasy, then those people will probably be giving GAs to someone or something. ;-)

A&E did a Cold Case Files episode on them called, “Mommy’s Rules”. When I watched that show and read up online then I felt sick that so many times I’d run by that house and thought to myself, “poor white trash, I’m glad it’s not my family” and also fear that so many times my friends and I had run past there during our training and not been afraid.

In Knox County, Ohio, a man employed as a tree-trimmer recently stabbed three people to death – two women and a young boy. He cut the bodies into pieces, put the pieces into plastic bags, and then used his extensive knowledge of the area’s trees to hide the remains in the hollowed-out trunk of a 60-foot beech tree. He climbed it himself, somehow, and dropped the bags in from the top. He also killed a victim’s dog; it was found in the tree with the rest.

He meanwhile kept the 13-year-old daughter of one of the victims hostage in his own home. She was rescued before it was discovered that her mother and brother (the aforementioned young boy) had already been murdered.

I have family in Knox County, so I heard a lot about it when they visited for Thanksgiving.

One other very disturbing thing that I saw recently was a YouTube video of a Mormon mother basically abusing her adopted son.

@absalom That YouTube video was completely horrifying.
