Does the latest ipod shuffle have a sleep timer (or shut off after a certain amount of time)?

Asked by ftp901 (1318points) December 1st, 2010

I don’t want the shuffle to run all night long and drain the battery when I’m listening to it in bed. I checked the apple website and didn’t see any info about this, so do you have personal experience with the latest (or any) shuffle?

I know I can set the sleep timer on a nano, classic, itouch, etc. – just wondering about the shuffle (since it has no display/settings)

Unfortunately, no. As there’s no display and no way to access any kind of settings, there’s no documented way for activating a sleep timer on the Shuffle.
