Is Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood good? I am a fan of the previous games. Is it worth owning?

It’s definitely worth it. If you enjoyed Assassin’s Creed 2, then you should really enjoy Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood. The gameplay is almost identical to Assassin’s Creed 2, and even has a few elements of Assassin’s Creed 1 in it. The new weapons (specifically the crossbow) were a great upgrade, as well as some of Leonardo’s new machines. And the ability to train and utilize your own band of assassins is really useful. Admittedly, I don’t know much about the multilayer (because I’m not on Xbox Live), but I hear good things.

My advice; get it.

I don’t have it, but from what I understand it’s a must if you want to follow the awesomely insane story plot.

I love this game. I’ve been obsessed with the story in the previous games, but the online play in Brotherhood is so much fun that I’ve hardly touched story mode.

If you’re a fan of Assassin’s Creed, sure it’s worth it. It feels like an extension of AC2, as a matter of fact, just with extra stuff and set in Rome. And Ezio has facial hair. The only thing which I don’t like is the bonus tasks that come with memories that you need to do for 100% synchronization. They’re optional, but failing them bugs the hell out of me and I’ll end up spending hours trying to get one. However, that’s just me, and most people would probably like having a sort of mission within a mission.
