I overcame feelings of inadequacy the first time I managed to do something I really thought I could not do. For the first time in my life, instead of over thinking shit, I just closed my eyes and did it. In the end it wasn’t even as difficult as I believed it would be. I know this sounds too simple but believe me, the simplest ideas on paper are the hardest ones to implement in real life.

There is no trick in fighting through it. You simply put your head down and go. Your mind is your best friend and your worst enemy. The real trick is in knowing which one is talking to you at any given time.

Yes, and I adhere to the ‘fake it til you make it’ mantra.

I have pretty much done everything that ever scared me, except jumping out of a plane. lol

It is true, there is nothing to fear except fear itself!

I really struggle with this and yes I agree too with @Blondesjon GA x I think also you need to start recognizing ALL the things you do which are amazing already… And it’s always little steps… I was afraid to go into town on my own the other day because I felt insecure and inadequate just walking around on my own. It might not sound like a big deal to most people but it was for me… I forced myself to do it, constantly telling myself I CAN DO THIS…No, I REALLY can!!! and I did it…and acknowledged afterwards how fabulous I am xx

I used to think I was endowed like a greek statue but I decided it was just hidden under the fat. Losing weight now, feels good.

As a child, I grew up in a very religious family, and I never could “get it” so I thought something was wrong. with me. I was in my 20’s before I finally realized it doesn’t matter.
