What is something we ALL want?

Asked by Aesthetic_Mess (7894points) December 5th, 2010

I know we are all different, and have different desires and personalities, but there has to be something that we all want. What it is it? I don’t mean like food, shelter, and water. We know those.
This isn’t a riddle. I really want to know.

Happiness, love, companionship. However, I wonder if everyone really wants those things. Some people seem content with being alone.

To have some peace and quiet in the world, and to have family want to be together.
To live in a society where you don’t have to worry where your next meal is coming from or whether you will lose your residence or if you will be able to see a doctor if you need one.
