I sell mine through galleries, art fairs, art shows and word of mouth.
Always sell to big mouth people ;)

I don’t sell because of lack of talent, but I do buy, usually at shows, arts and craft fairs, and at galleries. I’ve also bought from displays of the artist work in banks, brokerages, etc.

Like @lucillelucillelucille says.

Also it is good to have an online blog where you post new art regularly for your collectors to follow your work when in between shows.

Right now I sell most of my small- study new releases off my blog. The larger works go to shows and fairs.

You could also try Etsy
Etsy is the online marketplace for buying and selling all things handmade.

My friend had an art show with good publicity provided by a friend. Not only did some people buy pieces at the show, they told their friends and THAT resulted in sales, too.

Arts and Craft fairs are great for selling art. Local markets, etc. I’d recommend Etsy – it’s a fantastic site for buying and selling art.
