Power and water consumption. Its no good if the thing is so inefficient you can’t afford to turn it on.

Quiet——Whisper quiet.
Next water consumption, but most extra quiet dishwashers are great on water consumption.

What @Tropical_Willie said. This is my first super quiet DW—a Kitchenaid. Love it.

We have a Whirlpool. We absolutely love it. it cleans dishes the way you expect it to. bright, shiney and clean. its quiet and really does take peanut butter off a knife, without other scrubbing.

We us Finish dishwashing powder. its also great for squeaky clean dishes.

I’ve been looking one that load and unloads itself, but then I’m just lazy.

I like that I don’t have to rinse my plates- Maytag. I don’t understand that, that’s work.
