How do you work the WD on sony bravia TV?

I“m staying at my cousins house and she’s gone to bed.
I“ve been watching movies on her WD through Sony Bravia.
But she watched TV tonight and now I don’t know how to make the TV read the WD. Is there a specific channel the TV needs to be on?
Does anyone know what I’m talking about?

On my TV I have multiple devices hook up to it, mine needs to use the TV input button to switch between them…. If you fallow the output from the WD to where it connects with the TV should help you figure out what input you need.
