If you could vote in someone to a post that doesn't get voted on, who, what, and why?

Let’s say for example, that the owner of your local major league team is a total moron. If it were up to you, you’d want to see Oprah take the helm, because then at least the give-aways would be interesting.
Who would you want in a position of power or notoriety and why?

I would like to vote for every new appointee to the Supreme Court. IF elected, perhaps the justices would be more accountable.
I’d like a “Czar of making sure that the government doesn’t meddle into the personal lives of the legal citizens and learn to mind their own damned business,” and I really wouldn’t care who done it as long as he does it RIGHT!!!
I’d also like a high school drop-out to serve on a public school board just to balance things out.
There should also be an “Almost Hall of Fame.” If you fail to make it into the Hall of Fame three times (No matter the Hall) you are no longer eligible to make it into the Hall of Fame and will be automatically inducted into the “Almost Hall of Fame.”
Who would your nominees be?
I would nominate Ricky Gervais to be the next Pope. Failing that, he could be the next Dalai Lama. Why? Because it would be hysterical!
I would vote for Tom Waits as our new ambassador of coolness…
Charlie Sheen as the head of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
