Does anyone know anything about dog clippers?

If I want to buy a relatively inexpensive pair of dog clippers, are there any brands or features that I should be on the lookout for?

If you are talking about nail clippers - if you run your dog on the sidewalk regularly you should not need them. The cement grinds them away.
