Voodoo Donuts is a real place and the donuts they serve are inspired and insane.

I had a cucumber donut once.

The bacon donut with maple glaze is somewhere in @Blondesjon‘s link. that’s the one that I want. =)

Ever seen Van Wilder? I think those pastries take the cake on this one…

The Christmas doughnut was outstanding.

Krispy Kreme made the doughnuts in the shape of a christmas tree. The inside was filled with green and white creme filling that tasted like a cedar christmas tree would smell. Needless to say, they sold out each morning as the public loved those christmas tree doughnuts.

Oh, man, you took the words right out of my…computer.

Personally, I don’t think Voodoo’s donuts are anywhere near as good as their hype…but you have to give them lots and lots of credit for their vivid imagination. And there’s no place for people-watching like Voodoo’s in the Pearl at about 11 PM.

Any more websites I could check for weird dessert flavors??
