For small business owners, freelancers, and finance managers in small enterprises, what financial data is important to have easy access to?

Cash balance, debt, receivables, payables, income, expense…. what else?

Target market characteristics and then on the other site of the POS statistics of actual patron/client characteristics. Additionally, often the information you mentioned above doesn’t truly capture volume statistics like occupancy rates or distinct product tracking. For instance you might know that your gross receipts were $1.4 million but how much of that was product A and how many were product B.

What financial data? A professional freelancer should have “easy access” to the financial data period… all of it.

Well in my business which is home repairs and fix ups I am always looking forward to about the time people’s income tax returns are in. That’s what I use as financial data and it works well. YMMV.
