How would I do this in a video editing program, and which one do I need?

I have a GIF of an iPhone with the screen set to transparent, how would I use this as a mask with a recording of my iPod screen? I have the .avi file, I want to to be placed inside of the trasnparent area. What program do I need and what are the steps?

Aha. Check out Microsoft’s free download, Windows Movie Maker, if you’re using a PC. Here’s a short video opn its basics. You can add a frame using its Title Overlay feature.

I also believe Adobe AfterEffects will do that, but I don’t know how… Sorry I can’t help you further!
