What is a good way to fix a rip in my vinyl booth for my table?

Asked by Flutherit (52points) June 4th, 2011

I have a 4 inch rip in my vinyl booth for my kitchen table. How can I fix this myself or should I get it professionally done?

You must be having a bad furniture day. LOL I just answered your broken coffee table question and now I’ll attempt your torn vinyl question. Years ago, I used that vinyl repair kit thing they sold on television. It isn’t perfect, but it isn’t terrible either. Four inches is pretty big though. Where is it located on the booth? Back or seat rest area? Is it in an obvious place where people sit alot?

It is where you can see it but I put a brown duct tape on it. It is on the seat part where you sit closest to the edge. The table kind of covers it.

You could try Magic Mender or call a service like Furniture Medics.
