I don’t know anyone who has a Mazda 2, but I know quite a few people who have or have had Mazdas, and no one’s ever spoken badly of them so far as reliability goes.

Mazdas are generally a hair above average in reliability, though what I’ve seen indicates that the Mazda 2 is near the low end of their range in that regard,

My Toyota Corolla may not be much to look at, but it’s 26 years old with 230K miles despite being abused and neglected and it still runs fine. I have seen many other Corollas of the same vintage running around too. If you want reliable, you would be hard-pressed to beat a Toyota.

Honda comes close, but while some of their models are uber-reliable, some are merely average; Tyota is far more consistent.

My question is this; do you want reliable, RELIABLE, or RELIABLE!!!! ?
