[NSFW if you wish] Now that you are a Fluther jelly, are there any jellies you'd like to eat?

Asked by ETpro (34605points) January 20th, 2012

Maybe it’s a species of jellyfish you hunger for. People do eat them, you know.

Please don’t name specific Jellies here. Fluther doesn’t allow popularity contests or saying things about individual users that might embarrass them. That will get moderated.

But sticking to generalities, maybe you’re an opportunistic feeder and would sample them all if you could. Maybe you consider actual jellyfish in the ocean as separate from Fluther Jellies. Which is OK to eat, and which is off limits to you. Or maybe it’s a particular class of Fluther or Ocean Jellies.you hanker to taste. What jellies (besides Smuckers and the like) wets your palate? Or now that you are a Jelly, would eating any aquatic jellyfish be cannibalism?

Let’s see… naming names is against the rulz but there are a few Fluther jellies I’d gladly consume and hopefully metabolize their brilliant thinking processes and make them my own.

Hmm, @ETpro, is this question to subtly manipulate and inculcate in our brains that we should not eat too much fish? Lol.

I read that article about the dwindling fish situation in England and recently I also heard that many fishermen’s livelihood in Cape Cod could be severely affected by a supposed fishing ban. Seemed like it was only yesterday when America was just discovered and pilgrim ships had difficulty getting to port in New England because the water was so thick with cod.

And, well, oh yeah, there’s one jelly I would have no second thoughts eating. If she reads this she would know. I hope she sends me a pm to say, yes! yes! Eat Me!

And so I will. Heh heh…

Cannibalism♥

Jellies, jellies…it’s not cannibalism if nothing gets sliced, swallowed and disposed of. Lol.

I’m not really into seafood too much, except for breaded shrimp.

@Blueroses, @Imadethisupwithnoforethought & @HungryGuy My sentiments exactly.

@digitalimpression & @Paradox25 I thought ALL jellyfish ate seafood,

@mazingerz88 No hidden agenda here to save the fish. After all, that’;s what most Jellyfish eat. And good luck with the jelly you particularly want to merge with.

@Fiddle_Playing_Creole_Bastard & @mazingerz88 Cannibalism? Fiddlesticks! When one jelly eats another jelly what do you have>> Jelly. No one is the looser.

digitalimpression's avatar

@ETpro Nope. This one eats cheeseburgers.

@digitalimpression Now that’s a cool jellyfish. :-)
