Do odometers in cars sold in Canada read in kilometres?

Yes, the metric system (ISU) is the official measurement system in Canada. Odometers are in kilometers. You do get some grocery stores that sell things by the pound which I find mildly annoying.

in addition the odometers also show miles, but kilometers is the most prominent. I suspect Canada is the only country in the world to do so, thanks to stradling America which is stuck in the 1500s.
