How do I delete stuff from iTunes on my iPad?

I’m at the airport and need to free up some space to download a movie. How do I get rid of iTunes stuff I don’t want anymore without connecting to a real computer?

That works for deleting apps, but I don’t see how to do that to delete media from the iTunes library?

The same way delete emails. Go to the list view in itunes or videos and then swipe to right on stuff you don’t want. Then click on the big red delete button.
