Can anyone tell me why my iPad won't let me log in to our internet at home?

It shows what networks are available. I choose ours. It asks for a password. I type the password in, but the “join” button on the screen and on the keyboard stay ghosted. The cancel button is not. Anyone know what is up with that?

If I was you I would disable WEP/WPA in the router and try with that. If it can connect then you can start troubleshooting further.

And Allie had a problem with her AppleTV connecting to the LAN and the iPad and ATV run on the same networking stack. If I remember correctly it was a WPA problem.

So yeah, turn off the security stuff in the router and see if it will connect then.

Try resetting your router and your iPad.

Well, it would have helped if my husband had told me he changed the password to access our stuff. >_<
