How can I link to a fullscreen video that autoplays?

Asked by intro24 (1434points) July 26th, 2012

Hey guys, where can I host a video where I can get a link that automatically goes fullscreen AND autoplays the video? I know YouTube can do it (this is the effect I’m looking for) but the trouble is that goes through a Google API which means that if the video contains flagged copyright material it won’t play (example). Is there a way to make this work or is there a service like YouTube capable of doing what I want?

By the way, I’d really prefer not having to embed.

Thanks in advanced!

I’ll be damned… for those curious why clicking “example” actually does work, try copying the URL and pasting it in a new tab. Then it should not work… maybe. Anyone else confused? I guess because it’s actually linked it works for some reason.

They probably track referrers, so if there isn’t one you get the copyright message, linking from anywhere should work if that’s the case.

Is your problem solved?

I think. If it works. That’s strange yet convinient.
