Does anyone still play Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy?

Asked by ScottyMcGeester (892 points ) August 23rd, 2012

I’ve been wanting to make a machinima for that for years. I have five people (including me) interested. I want to see if I can get more. The story isn’t Star Wars related. It’s a brand new story in an original universe. I’ll message you with details if you’re interested.

Unfortunately, the game is pretty dead. There’s a few clans that still play that you could maybe contact, but at this point it’s become incredibly niche.

@DeanV I figured that much. I mean it’s been since 2005. People do still make maps and mods for it though. Does that mean you still play it though? Hence being aware of how niche it is? I do have enough people to do the job. And lots of friends who do voice acting anyway. I just wanted to see if there were more out there to help out.

@ScottyMcGeester I don’t. I have before, but I only really know about it from a bit of nostalgia and reminiscing. I haven’t touched it since 2007 maybe. Surprised to see it show up here.
