Cannot open Canon F-1?

I cannot open my camera. I press the safety stopper, and pull up the rewind knob. Any ideas on opening it?

GO TO 45 Seconds in this video

Looks like you have to pull up, and push the door inwards and it should bounce out. (That’s what it looks like in the video)

In this video @ about 35 seconds it looks like the guy Just lifts up the rewind knob. Perhaps you didn’t rewind your film all the way? Or maybe you aren’t pulling it up the its highest point.
