Bunch of hype or if used correctly will it work miracles? What do you know about it?

What What? Ketones are BAAD…. Is someone trying to sell them ?????

ZEPHYRA's avatar

@bookish1 Yes, totally legally…...why? It’s a supposedly safe product on the market to aid weight loss.

@ZEPHYRA , I have not heard of this product, so it might be something else. But to a diabetic, ‘ketones’ means that your body is breaking down muscle or fat (I forget which) in lieu of glucose, and it means your blood can very quickly turn acidic. Moderate or high level ketones is ER time.

@ZEPHYRA Be very careful with ketones. Ketosis was a real problem with our cattle. It’s a killer. I’d do a lot more research before I touched anything like that. I’m still looking but be careful.

@ZEPHYRA I looked into it some more. It appears legit if you get the right ingredients in the product. It’s expensive for the natural version, so watch out for the cheap usually synthetic knockoffs. It does mess with your metabolism so be careful.
