What are some ways to increase the video quality on skype?

I was skyping with someone and I could see them just fine, but my video was lousy. I was just wondering if anyone had some thoughts. I looked on the help bar, but none of those suggestions seemed to help. Thoughts?

Picture quality is dependent on camera quality. It may just be a limit of pixels, more pixels in camera better picture. Can you change your camera ? ?

@Tropical_Willie It isn’t the camera I think. At times the video is fine, other times it is so bad they can just barely see me.
