What would you like to see as an iPhone app?

Asked by thewittyllama (4points) June 13th, 2008 from iPhone

The appstore will be available in the coming 2.0 software update. What kind of apps have you seen or would like to see that would be amazing?

What’s wrong with the fluther link app you can save on your home screen? How would a downloaded app work any different?

Lost_World's avatar

It just would, download apps are nicer then web apps. No one seems to think so :( I’m all alone in my boat.

But you have to be online with flutter. It’s not like a game that would play faster if downloaded, or some other stand alone program. Flutter is online interaction. How would a downloaded flutter app work?

Just the same way as a downloaded tweeter app is better then an online one :)

@melonking: Fluther is the web site; an app can be run without connecting to the web. Fluther needs a web connection to work… get it?

@melonking

Perhaps your attitude is why people want you off Fluther.

no, i agree with melon king. the app would streamline the whole process. if you watched the keynote, did you see ebays presentation. they have tabs for account, bids, activity, and other stuff. it could work like that with fluther. instead of having to click a link to navigate through your personal stuff, you would have a toolbar. its much better. i dont think anyone can argue the fact that native apps are better than webapps any time
