Is there any way to get the Fluther search to show the results by date; newest first?

Asked by Buttonstc (27605points) June 20th, 2013 from iPhone

I’m aware that it can differentiate on the basis of usename, but if all you remember is that it was recent (within the last month) but have no idea who asked it, that doesn’t help much.

Any ideas?

The fluther search functionality is essentially useless. You could try Google. Try:

site:fluther.com atheist

or some other search term other than “atheist”, and then click “Search Tools”, select a date range and then choose the “sort by” dropdown. You’ll end up with a search like this.

If there is a better way than @tom_g‘s suggestion, I don’t know it.

@tom_g

Thanks for that answer. Just one quick Q. Will this work on mobile or just when one is on the computer?

So often, in my experience, the mobile version is significantly limited.

Yes. I just tested it on mobile and it has the same features (although search tools are now indicated by the wrench icon). Note: I’m running Chrome on Android.

Well, I’ll give it a try on my iPhone and see what happens.

Thanks.
