I agree. I think it’s an albino arowana

After looking at it for awhile, Arowana popped into my head (I remembered seeing it somewhere).

Very cool looking fish. :)

submittign the image to google images (and some manual sifting) brought this – so arrowana is my vote too
I hope you guys can see this, it’s what happened when I searched for just the image but didn’t add the word “fish”

@drhat77 Read you loud and clear. Google bot knows it’s either a red car if you don’t tell it “this is a fish”, or a red arowana (because its white) if you tell it the phylum to stick to.

…or just tell it to “stick it.”

@Mama_Cakes Atowana are pretty interesting fish. They may have been one of the early species to develop an internal organ allowing them to gulp air and absorb oxygen from it (rudimentary lungs).

It is indeed an arowana. I often feel bad for this fish. Like oscars people have a tendency of keeping really big individuals in tanks far to small for them.

Fun fact: Arowanas have been known to jump out of the water and catch bats or small birds flying above.

Typo correction, Atowana should have read arowana.
