I love online castle defense games. The graphics are usually crap and most of them have similar layouts and features but I just can’t stop playing! If it’s something you enjoy than what’s the problem?

Haha, Rule of Rose. I have that. I thought it was pretty good as well, it sure has a unique theme, and a real messed up story. People keep bashing the gameplay, and within reason, but it’s not THAT bad. Fighting is tricky, (and what the fuck, your first weapon is a fork) and using Brown to sniff for items does get a little monotonous after a while, but it all worked good enough. It’s a good game.

One of my other votes is Shadow Madness on PS1. I can understand why nobody likes this, playing it is hell. Everything is broken, the battle menues are way too complicated, and you can reach max level for your characters not even halfway through the game. Did anyone even test this shit out before release?
However I love the game for its story and fleshed out characters. To this day, this is still some of the best dialogue ever in a game, and it dwarfs every Final Fantasy by miles. The world is truly alive, well constructed and it’s a joy interacting with everything. Should have been a graphic novel or something…good thing the battles are easy though, because it’s nigh unplayable. Still, I love it enough that I’ve replayed it more than once.

Real Racing 3 for iPhone.

Best selling app of it’s kind.

Jaw dropping graphics and dynamics.

I’ve played the game since it’s infancy.

When video of gameplay for 3 came out I was thrilled to death. Not just real cars now but real courses.

Then reality hit me when I saw the program was free instead of about $12.

Firemonkey’s new efforts with the support of Electronic Arts confirmed my worst fears.

Last time I checked to complete the game would cost $550 in real money in app purchases.

Back when I had a jailbroken i4 I simply hacked to get $2B in money and credits, every car unlocked, modified to the hilt.

I lost my JB and bought an i5S, touched on the wrong key and lost millions in money, credits, hardware and all my progress.

I’ll be able to re hack once I update my OS to run iFunbox soon, hopefully, iOS 7 will be cracked quickly as well.

I, for now, play the game at a crawl in order to not put out any meatspace greenbacks.

let’s put the dosh in perspective:

I could buy a set of autocross Dunlops for my real car with $550.

@Symbeline I’ve done that. I’ll cut and paste from another program and I end up giving online store advertising advice to a question about a cat… Embarrassing. I’ve been moderated a few times for not paying attention. “Your reply was removed as it was off topic.” Oh yeah, to keep this on topic I will mention the fact that I also like to play balloon castle defense games which is right juvenile and a pointless waste of time.

Battlezone.

I play really really stupid Hidden Object mystery games.

I can pretty much knock out a full game in four hours or so, but they’re lots of fun. I play them on no-hints mode and spend half the time arguing with the computer that yes, I should be able to simply use the screwdriver to remove the door’s hinges instead of finding a set of lock-picks.
