Which structure in a squid gets rid of the cell waste?

Asked by tp (175points) December 19th, 2013

Squids have many structures that help them with different things, but I’ve always wondered which structure disposes the cell waste.

As a former cephalopod (Jim in a Nautilus COAT on Answerbag) this question is as near and dear to my cephalopod heart as human stomachs and intestines are to human hearts. Squids have an stomach, attached to and intestine and rectum for elimination. Here’s a more complete answer.

Are you asking on a cellular level or a macro level?
