Hope I’m not overstating the obvious here, but hair coloring product generally just changes the color of your hair. When used in conjunction with a toning (peroxide) product, there is a possibility of your hair weakening or scalp irritation if you are doing it yourself.

You are more at risk from an allergic reaction to the product. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions and test yourself.

Your scalp dries up.
Your hair slowly starts to frizz.
Each individual hair breaks down and falls out.
Soon, you’ll be bald.

I would know. It happened to me…
That, and I have cancer and I’m dying soon.

Yes young one, but I believe I have lived a very full life, a very joy-filled life. You should too whilst you are young.

I still remember when I was a wee one, I would sit in my favorite red wagon and my older sister would pull me around all day long. An when I was a bit older she would take me to the park an we would sit and enjoy the sunshine. I can still hear them birds singing this beautiful song. Chirp chirp chirp…ahhh music to my ears..although my ears aint what they used ta be.

During my teen years, I was hip, I was even hop. Had this great boyfriend through high school. We even thought we was going to live together forever, but things didn’t work out after we graduated. We got distant and had to separate. Now, he was a fine one, but I just hada let ‘im go. I went to university and met my husband George, rest his soul. Fresh from university I got my life altogether and everything went fine. Had six children and they all turned out really good..my Winnie even came to visit me last week with her children.

…ahh, my days. But I don’t wish to go back. It has been a great life. I also ‘member tea. Now the old clock would chime through the old city and mummy and daddy would prepare for teatime. I love teatime, the tea is great. I don’t know where i’d be without teatime.

I also member George…old Georgie..rest his soul now. Love of my life. But let’s not talk about me. what about you, are you married, children, husband, boyfriend? Got a story or two to share with us bored folks?

@theguru Welcome to Fluther. So sorry to hear you are ill, but you seem to be at peace with it, and I applaud your attitude.
