Why do I continue to get these emails from Fluther?

SPAMMER was removed probably.

I get them. Extra 2 points.

I stopped notifications so I dont get any emails anymore.

^^^Yeah, go into your Fluther account and stop the email notifications.

That’s an example of how hard our mods work to keep the place clean. When i see something like that I say a silent “Thank you, Mods!”

As has been said, by the time you’ve checked your mail and found a spammer has followed you, the mod team have banned the spammer. I don’t know why spammers follow people. However, at certain times of the day you’ll often see a whole list of “XBY followed xxx” in the community feed. That’s usually a spammer at work.

Plus, for some reason, there has been a delay of several days with email botifications for years now.
