What? Yeah, I know about Family Guy, just like everyone else in the world?

I think it used to be funnier. I don’t watch it anymore.

Was this a question posted just to see how Fluther works?

Cartman sumed it up well in the first episode:

“Don’t you ever, EVER compare me to Family Guy, you hear me Kyle? Compare me to Family Guy again and so help me, I will kill you where you stand! Do you have any idea what it’s like? Everywhere I go: “Hey Cartman you must like Family Guy, right?” “Hey, your sense of humor reminds me of Family Guy, Cartman!” I am nothing like Family Guy! When I make jokes they are inherent to a story! Deep situational and emotional jokes based on what is relevant and has a point, not just one random interchangeable joke after another!

The Cartoon Wars episodes of South Park totally killed what little interest was left for me. South Park has to be one of the smartest shows in TV. Never ceases to amaze me.

Watch Cartoon Wars I & II (season 10)

no i wanted to know if people enjoy family guy as much as me
I will never find family guy offensive
as a matter of fact im watching family guy right now

I don’t get offended by Family Guy, I just don’t think it’s very funny.

They set up the joke, then they tell the joke… wait a minute… did you get it? Let me tell it again. OK, one more time with the same joke just to be sure. Then a reminder about that great joke they just told.

da455hole's avatar

its funny if you understand the jokes because one joke might be the whole point of the episodes

You want some real brilliant humor? Spend an hour with Ricky Gervais.

da455hole's avatar

who is that? is he on youtube

PupnTaco's avatar

Ah, that’s it. I must not understand the jokes.

Ricky Gervais is the mind behind the brilliance that was the original version of The Office (BBC). He also did the HBO series Extras. I’m sure you can find him on youtube.

Family guy is overrated. I don’t think it’s funny and the animation style is annoying. The South Park that made fun of family guy was so right. The jokes are totally extraneous and have nothing to do with the plot. See the south park where they mock familiy guy.

I find it amusing, but i’d be uncomfortable watching with my mother/father/grandparent/whatever in the room.
