Does the FBI, CIA and/or NSA have access to Trumps tax returns through the IRS?

Asked by rojo (24179points) April 13th, 2017

If there is some reason any of these organizations feel that there is information to be gleaned from his tax returns can they request the information from the IRS and is the IRS required to provide said information (regardless of “ongoing audits”)?

@rojo IMHO I do not believe that there is such a thing as “privacy” anymore. Obama increased the powers of the NSA greatly his last day in office. I would say all three agencies have access to virtually everything. Nothing is secret, sacred or private. (which is NOT to say there shouldn’t be some secret, sacred or private.)

No, IRS files are segregated.

No, they don’t. But Congress could get them. Republicans are blocking any attempt.
