Difficult question since it all comes down to how you will use it. My experience of Lenovo is that they manage to build great things to a smaller cost. For all kinds of media editing and production I would recommend an i7 core but for lightweight software an i5 will work well aswell. Apart from the CPU the ammount of RAM is important. At 6 gb RAM in a combination with the i5, I would say this is a good laptop within the price range.

Go for it!

I like Lenovo machines. I’ve bought 3 and have been very happy with them.
