You send the Doctor a note or an email letting him know why you are changing to another practice. And copy the medical group administrative office on the letter.

Speak with the office manager or practice administrator. I run a small surgical practice and I would be very interested to know about any staff that isn’t giving patients the best possible care (and also appreciative of any patient willing to take the time to talk to me about it). If that’s a dead-end, speak with the physician directly. She probably also would want to know about staff issues. If neither approach works, I would switch practices.

It’s too bad a patient has to switch doctors because of his staff.
