How can I convert a .fdx file to a .jpg file?

Asked by mazingerz88 (28823points) August 3rd, 2018 from iPhone

Unable to find answers that work using Google so as usual jellies are my last hope.

Used to have Final Draft years ago and kept material in .fdx format. Should have saved them as .jpg too but foolishly didn’t.

Is there a way I could convert from .fdx to .jpg quickly and for free? Thanks!

Final Draft offers a 30 day free trial. I would see if that makes the conversion.

How about taking a screen print? You can save that as jpg. If it’s several pages, do a page at a time. The jpgs could then be saved together in an album, or you could use software to stitch them together.

I have Windows XP.

I was able to go to one of my files, right click on the title, and select edit.

Selecting edit opened the file with Paint.

Clicking on File and then “Save as”, gave me a list of different file types that I could apply to the edited file; that is, this procedure gave me the option to change (convert) the file type.

That way, I was able to convert the file, without downloading anything, or unnecessarily using more any disk space.
