Why is the tip of my finger developing this split?

Asked by Dutchess_III (46828points) January 3rd, 2019

It’s my middle finger, on the right hand, on the left side of finger nail. It corresponds with where that finger nail ends, and runs down to the tip of my finger, and I think the nail may have something to do with it, but I don’t know what. It looks normal to me.
It wasn’t healing because I kept banging it, so I wrapped it up for several days, and used rubber gloves for doing the dishes. It was just about healed, so I took the band aids off, and now it’s splitting again.
Any ideas?

You are morphing into a cloven hoofed animal. The fingernail is just the first part of your body to become cloven; eventually it will occur on your other fingers, then toes.

It’s important to note that a divided hoof is ascribed to a satyr, the god Pan, or to the Devil, sometimes used as a symbol or mark of the Devil.

So you’re on your way down….

Oh yeah? Well come stand behind me in about 6 months and slap me on the butt! I’ll show you a cloven hoof!

Your cells are going through mitosis. The process will become more rapid, until your fingers are replicated.

Pretty soon your husband will notice you’re have a third hand. While this is convenient for carrying thins, and for getting money out of your wallet, it gets a bit confusing when you want to shake hands.

It’s official. I have finger cancer. But do you guys care? No. All you think about are your own fingers.

@Dutchess_III I like that videotape for a couple of reasons. First, the two boneheads are nonviolent. Sure, they’re both hilariously childish and silly, but they never get physical. Second, Red Jacket Bonehead keep meandering into traffic, completely oblivious that it exists!

That sounds about right @Pandora. I knew how to fix it though. I just couldn’t figure out why it was happening for apparently no reason. Thanks.
