Was it a violation of power or an ethical issue with regards to the the Canadian political fiasco of Jody Wilson Raybould secretely recording a conversation with Clerk of the Privy Council Michael Wernick ?

Asked by Inspired_2write (14486points) March 31st, 2019

Raybould was a Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada then appointed to Veteran Affairs then she resigned after making this fiasco public and now airing a secret recording of a conversation without letting the caller know that is was being recorded. Isn’t that illegal?

Wednesday there will be a Parliamentary Caucus meeting to determine whether the Liberal party of which she supposedly supports and is a member and it is widely suspected that they will turf her by Thursday.

Looks like a manipulative ploy by the Opposition, but she should had seen this ahead of time.
Seems that she is reacting with her emotions instead?
She lost her Position and was to her demoted to Veteran Affairs Minister and quit that too.
It looks like a revenge trip ?

This is the best you Canadians can do? Come on, this doesn’t even rank as a class-3 scandal, much less anything more important.

We have our own troubles here in the US of A that are a whole lot more destructive.

Well @Inspired_2write your question does show how much Americans keep up with any kind of Canadian politics or much less care.

@SQUEEKY2
