Anyone read the book "The Lilac Girls" and what did you think?

Asked by Harper1234 (857points) April 17th, 2019

I just got introduced to the whole concept behind this book and that some of it was real and some fiction. Is it really that riveting?

I only read about half of it but then I’ve read and known a lot about the Holocaust.

The Nightingale by Kristen Hannah
The Painted Bird by Jerzy Kosinski is unconventional
Night by Eli Wiesel is a classic
All the Light We Cannot See by Anthony Doerr is excellent

And if you’ve never read it:
Anne Frank: the diary of a young girl by Anne Frank
