Can I make Google images open a website in the same tab?

Asked by hosa (186points) April 18th, 2019

In Google Images when I click on an image, there is a “visit” button to visit the website, I want it to open in the same tab not a new one . Is there anything I can do?

Firefox doesn’t have a specific menu option to “Open Link In Same/This Tab”, but here’s a workaround:

Right-click on “View”.

Select “Copy Link Location”.

Paste the link location in the address bar.

Press “Enter” or click on the rightward arrow in the address bar.

At least when I did this, it went from the image to its page in the same tab.
