Anyone playing TF2 on a Macbook using Crossover?

Any problems, comments. suggestions?

I run all kinds of steam games including TF2 using boot camp…I don’t think I’d ever try and run a game using my VMware software even if people said it worked. for the sake of the game running better, I would use boot camp with windows XP.

Crossover isn’t VMware, it’s the next best thing to native (that and transgaming’s apple cider) i’ve run it before and it was pretty good. I got a couple of crashes but it seemed to work well

@joeysefika “crossover isn’t VMware, it’s the next best thing to native” that is exactly why I recommend running XP native, because it is the best way to do it. Not sure why anyone would want to settle for second place, if you can restart for first place.

first off a second partition takes your HD space and secondly a restart isn’t half a pain. (I do use bootcamp though I’m just defending this for the sake of discussion)
