I think it’s important that Israel has military superiority to it’s neighbors in the region, because they’re an exestenital threat to Israel which does have a right to exist (of course). I also think that’s a pretty huge carrot to compel Israel to stop building settlements and to treat Palestinians as human beings. Neither the Republicans nor the Establishment Dems have any interest in that though. And so the cycle will continue…

There’s a lot that I have read, but I can sum up the situation in 2–3 thoughts.

1) Good for the UAE to have the courage.

2) The Palestinians screwed themselves over, like they have for 40 years. Bad leadership for decades. They made themselves irrelevant.

3) Other Arab countries will follow the UAE and be rewarded.
