I am looking for recall information from cottonell flushable wipes?

Asked by RedDeerGuy1 (24473points) October 10th, 2020

Was on the ticker tape on the news too fast.

Said two things:
1) are not flushable
2) cause bacterial infections in humans.

I bought at Sobeys last night. Already used.

I am going to return now.

1: In general “flushable” wipes aren’t really all that flushable, despite the marketing, and they particularly suck for those who have septic tanks.

2: There’s probably nothing on them that’s worse than what’s already coming out of you. The digestive tract is a paradise for bacteria.

3: If you’re concerned you can try going to the brand’s/manufacturer’s website. Most will have recall information relevant to any of their products posted.

@all Thanks. Got a refund and bought groceries while I was at the grocery store.
