How do I clean the outside of my microwave?

Asked by MicaDirtCat (307points) September 7th, 2008

I can never get rid of streaks on it no matter how many times I wipe it! I’ve also heard that you shouldn’t use chemicals on that tyoe of plastic, any truth to that?

Terrycloth towel may help with the streaks

The owner’s manual you got when you purchased the unit, should supply helpful information, as well as on the manufacturer’s website.

The big thing when you clean with a wet product, is to thoroughly dry it off afterwards. This should remove the streaks.
