Are there templates for writing storyline summaries between 3-4 episodes?

Surely there are some, yes.

Keep in mind that episodes in a video can really be considered short stories (in a literary sense), because of the time, length, ability to do character development, and so on.

There are TONS of guides to writing short stories. Here is a link to one of them, but there are lots of others.

The main points are introducing the characters early, creating the atmosphere for a conflict, having the conflict, and then resolving it. Everything else just builds on those principles.

The other point – as a sometimes writer myself – is believability. If you’re trying to have a story that is going to be accepted and appreciated, there has to be some aura of common experience that the listener/reader can associate with. Meaning that character development is essential.
