AIM without internet?

Asked by swimmindude2496 (322points) September 26th, 2008

I will be traveling the car for a couple of hours with my Mac. Would I be able to access AIM without internet? Or would I have to use my BlackBerry.

As long as you have a data plan, you can get internet access on your Blackberry. Not sure if you can get on AIM on your blackberry though, unless you have a special app. An iPhone would be great, seeing as your a fan of macs, even though I’m anti-apple :(

It’s OK, he knows you won’t listen SW.

I used to think AIM just worked magically too, over thin air. I think you and I are just too advanced for these primitives and their ‘internets’.

No, You cant access a program that requires internet connection without using internet. You can access your AIM on your blackberry but you must connect to the internet. You must have credit balance or wifi spot to access the internet
