I see that the London Tbe (subway) does not run on Christmas Day. Anybody know of a good way to get from Heathrow to London on X-Mas?

I’d like to avoid taking an expensive taxi ride. Thanks so much for your time!

Oops, I meant “Tube.” Sorry!

They have the sweet high-speed no-stopping train that goes to central london. The entrance is right under heathrow terminals 1–2 right next to the tube entrance. Sucks to pay 20 GBP to take it though.

The train line from Heathrow to Paddington in London is called Heathrow Express. Here is their website:

It looks like the train is not running on Christmas day but that they have busses (“coaches”) running instead.

If you need more info, I can contact my niece who is a a manager for the company but I think the website should tell you what you need.

I wrote to Heathrow Express and they sent me the following. I appreciate their prompt and helpful response.
Thank you for your message. The Christmas and New Year timetable has not yet been published. There will be a replacement coach service on 25 December, due to engineering works. Full details will be available a little nearer the time on the website: www.heathrowexpress.com under the heading “Service Information” and then “ Advance Service Alterations”.
