Indoor weed is difficult to find by the authorities unless there is a search warrant involved. Outdoor weed is probably more fresh but harder to conceal if it is grown in large quantities.

i think the outdoor weed you rip out ,the indoor one you smoke.

Do you mean the difference when smoked, or what?

Generally outdoor has thicker stems since it has to withstand a beating from the elements, where as indoor is like the pampered princess of weed.

The outdoor version is considered to be almost unusable to smoke. The elements have hardened the plant.(@lacerbabe99) It’s like beef from an old cow. This if grown in most regions of the world, except for the tropic and humid islands. Sadly what grows there is illegal, even in the more open minded countries. Try to clear a suitcase of that stuff trough customs… even the Dutch border isn’t that friendly. Drug lords and such run these alternative farms. They grow it between other crops so it wouldn’t look suspicious from the sky.

To reach perfection you need the pampered princess.
The right conditions make the right taste and THC levels.

@jax outdoor grown weed can be just as potent and pampered as indoor. It all depends on the strain. And as far as customs go…what pot smuggler attempts to fly with just what will fit in a suitcase? That’s only like 10 pounds…not even worth buying a plane ticket for.

aaaaaaaaamen, skabeep!
i’ve smoked some ridiculously good outdoor stuff,
its just good to keep in mind when your buying outdoor that the stems are thicker and if you are getting entire buds when you buy rather than already busted, some of your weight is lost in the stems!

@skabeep, Lol yes the suitcase is just an example. I think the opinion on what is good to smoke or not good to smoke depends on where you live. Where I come from anything that isn’t perfect doesn’t get smoked. But well we drown in the stuff here, so we can afford to be picky. Legalizing isn’t that cool by the way. When just anybody can smoke anywhere you get a lot of side affects, like stoned students in your class. Or employees that have a different kind of cigarette break.

Jax, keeping it illegal doesn’t stop me from going to class stoned, or going for a doobie snack during work… it just attaches a stigma to the action.

Jax's avatar

True maybe for most people, but stigma works both ways. When it’s illegal it’s likely that less people would get stoned during the day. It’s harder to buy normal cigarettes these days. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a plant. It should be legal to grow. But the amounts of weed that are sold here are unhealthy to society.

Jax.. I urge you to look into data regarding the War on Drugs. Making drugs illegal does not prevent people from doing them, it just simply doesn’t. It doesn’t even lower the number of users significantly, it just puts the market in the hands of shady people.

I did a paper on the subject and would like to point out that when Holland decriminalized marijuana, use by certain key groups that we look to lower here in the US (12–18 year olds) actually decreased. Decreased! It is not the slippery slope everyone thinks it is. It would actually be a very smart, economical decision on the part of the government, if we can ever get over our puritanical roots.

Forgive me if my visions are a bit clouded. I’m from the one country that does allow most soft drugs (Holland), by doing so it has allowed the “shady people” to built a semi-legal network. You can sell marijuana, but you are not allowed to grow more than 5 plants. The so-called grow shops encourage people to grow way more than that. A new kind of criminal now buys or rents buildings to arrange a network of small criminals (often teens) to seed acres of marijuana plants in attics. This is then sold to the legal coffee-shops. And the earnings are quite substantial. Since stealing power allows them to act unnoticed and is cheap.

So what we know here is that a coffee-shops, in one way or another encourages illegal activities. The demand for marijuana is big, but you can’t built a legal company selling marijuana. Like philip morris does for cigarettes. Because you’re not allowed to have a field of marijuana.

Then you may only buy marijuana when you’re over 18. Still I deal with teens that stand 2 feet outside their school, on school property. Smoking marijuana. The amount of students that do this in their breaks is so large there’s no point in telling them not to do it. And this is a well recommended school.

Although I sound pretty negative about it, the same can be said about alcohol. I am ok with marijuana. It should be legalized, wtf it’s a plant! But there are so many consequences so it should either be legalized in a commercial way, normalized like a bottle of vodka. So the employee at your local supermarket can ask your ID. Or stay illegal. Coffeeshops have to do this, but they rarely do so… They are not afraid of a ticket, they buy themselves out of any fine.

Then there’s drug tourism occupying half a country’s police force, instead of dealing with real things. But well…

I’m not trying to convince you or anybody to think that it’s all bad. I merely lay out the findings of a country with decriminalized soft-drugs. Before you legalize this, there should be a lot of thought put in to it or it leads to more and harder to tackle criminal actions.

lol and it all started with a really simple question…
