Selsun Blue! I think the one with the green cap is the best.

I get more dandruff as my hair gets greasier, too. Wash it more often.

Dandruff isn’t always synonymous with or caused by ‘dry scalp.’ Seborrhoeic dermatitis, for example, can be one cause.

Or psoriasis – use Nizoral alternating days with T-Gel.

I get really dry scalp in the winter and the Nizoral does the trick!

It can also be casued by fungal infections, Malassezia something I think.

Selsun Blue.

They sell some dry shampoos and powder hair refreshers, maybe one of those would help keep you non-greasy between showers?

You should use Selsum Blue, I heard its really good. And the reason i think you have greasy hair and dandruff is probably because whatever shampoo you are using probably is stripping ALL the natural oils in your scalp which is causing the dandruff. And the reason your hair/scalp is greasy is probably because your scalp is trying to regain its essential oils by creating lots, and lots of excess oils. The same thing goes with acne: dry out your face, your skin will get oilier faster. By the way you might want to use some natural shampoos that are ph balanced, that way you will be cleaning your hair without stripping all of the essential oils. (natural/organic tends to be more gentle)Hope this helps!

also the fact that its winter is gonna make it worse…

Dandruff is not strictly related to oiliness/dryness of the scalp. I have dandruff with neither oily/dry scalp and I found Nizoral to work very well at controlling it. I’ve noticed my hair getting greasy after a couple days, which has never happened before, so I’ve started washing with a regular shampoo before the Nizoral. You may have to try it out yourself to see what works best for your hair and scalp.
