Yes, my kitty’s new toy and a bag of treats (that help to prevent hairballs) are wrapped and under the tree. The cat is a blast on Christmas morning because he crawls into every box or bag and hides under the wrapping paper and gets us all laughing every year. So I couldn’t leave him out. Just call me a crazy cat lady!

I have bearded dragons so I could give them a nicer meal with some treats like berries or silkworms to eat. In fact I think I shall do this! Thanks for the idea :)

My family always gets my dogs something for Christmas. It’s usually bones, toys, and treats. I’m pretty sure they even have their own stocking.

Winston has made his list and has been very good. Santa will make sure to leave him something under the tree. He can’t leave it sooner than Christmas morning, because Winston steals presents from under the tree and opens them! For those of you who don’t know Winston…. See my avatar… Doesn’t he look like he’s been a good boy?

My small dog has his own little stocking that we stuff with treats. He always seems excited as soon as we put the tree up!

My three cats have their own stocking and it will be SANTA that fills them if they get filled, depending on whether or not they’ve been good. For the new 6 month old kitten, it looks “iffy”.

Y’all are crazy. In a good way.

Sure—I’ll be bringing my boyfriend’s cat some catnip toys from home as well as a few more boxes. Right now the cat is in heaven because my mom keeps sending me things there and the Amazon boxes are piling up. He loves boxes!

All of our dogs and cats have their own stocking. We fill it with bones, treats, toys, etc. and for months after Christmas it remains up so that they can pick new items when they’re feeling bored. Our JRT absolutely loves it. She is probably the most excited member of the family on Christmas morning… somehow she knows what day it is and she is the one to go around the house in the morning and wake everyone up (which is odd for her because she usually is the one to sleep in). We have two new members this year though, a kitten and my new dog, so we might have to have two stockings since the pet members of the family now equals six. And that’s just the number in the house..

I got meg and bailey – two labradors. Bailey is interested in toys but i wont get him any more because he has an old leather motorcycle glove which he carries around and throws around and prefers this to anything.
But being Labradors, whose dear wish is to be fed human food, they will get a full human food dinner. two years ago I did them both a joint of beef, whole one each (not too big). All the years of them seeing roast meat come out of the oven and the desperate longing for just a little cut. I let them cool and then handed them out, I could see the song playing in their heads “Finally, it happened for me!!” A whole roast! Labroador owners will know what I mean. And luckily mine have A1 digestive systems, nothing upsets their stomachs at all. usually I am strict with them because dont want them fat, so that day was def christmas for them!

No! (because I don’t have any) but I always give my friend’s dogs presents. I got them doggie Polo shirts from RL this year. They are super cute! and they came with gift boxes and ribbons….

Sometimes I do, sometimes I don’t. My cats could not care less. They are above all that silliness, you know! : )

Our “Cat” is part of the family…
She gets treats from Santa.…

Our three kitties definitely have a pressie each under the tree. We don’t usually put the pressie’s under the tree until Christmas Eve though, because we usually get them catnip filled toys, and we don’t want them ripping into parcels before then. Our kitties are like Daisy’s kitty, they love it when the pressies are being unwrapped and they can jump in the paper and the boxes etc.

Yes, of course! My dog Milo and my puppy Little Chief are part of the family, my family loves animals. They even have their own stockings.

@desiree – I completely agree with you. However, my question was, Would you give your pet a present or special treat for Christmas?

desiree333's avatar

yes, I do every year! I usually get them toys and treats in their stockings and clothes and boots and stuff for presents. (dogs clothes that is :) )
